In a recent study in the US, students said they wanted to use the Internet for more of their schoolwork, but have not been directed to interesting online activities. My colleague Micki, who teaches the course for Ramla Elementary teachers, and I have been discussing this for some time. We also feel that the activities teachers plan seem different from the way most pupils use computers on a daily basis. We wanted to know exactly what the situation is in the Israeli school system.
